100 Words from China Service Ventures (April 2008)

Prayer has been described in many ways.  Prayer is a conversation with God; prayer is doxology, praise, and thanksgiving; prayer is confession, supplication and intercession.  To each person prayer has a different meaning.  Yet every Tuesday at the CSV office people gather for prayer concerning our ministry in Henan, China and the United States.

In April, a CSV Board Delegation will travel to Hongkong and Henan Province to meet with Chinese partners and officials concerning HIV/AIDS, Summer Camping opportunities, Organic Farming, long and short term English education, Youth Service Projects, and housing for our new field developers.  Your mission?   Keep these meetings in your prayers asking God for blessing and grace as we seek to serve His children?

When we pray we come alive in God.  So let all the friends of CSV join in prayer for these conversations with our Chinese friends.  Let us continue as servants to ventures of which we can not see the ending, only knowing that God is supporting and leadings us in love.  Let us live and pray boldly in our Resurrected Lord.

Grace and Peace,
