Assistant Cook Job Description–Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp MT

Seeking experienced cooks for full time seasonal work during the month of May through September, with the possibility of part time work for the months of October through April. Kitchen/supervisory experience preferred. Work environment is a fast paced and high volume kitchen serving an average of 200 people daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All food is made in house from scratch. Must be able to work long hours on your feet and be able to lift 50 pounds. A ServSafe certification is required, but can be acquired after being hired and will be paid for by Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp. Days and hours are flexible, as we are in operation 7 days a week during our busy season. Pay is competitive.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

· Following menus and recipes as given by Food Service Coordinator
· Cleaning kitchen between meals and at end of working day
· Working with a team of other cooks of varying ability, and a team oriented attitude
· Receiving and putting away food orders
· Inventory and cost control of food inventory
· Strong baking skills preferred, but not necessary
