All Things to All People?: Constitutional Provisions and Discernment of Priorities for Ministry (Pastor Nate Sutton) Spruce Meeting House
Are you being pulled in multiple directions in your ministry context? Do your duties match your gifts and passions? How much time and energy are you devoting to extraneous tasks? Come revisit the language in the ELCA Model Constitution outlining the Ministry of Word and Sacrament or the Ministry of Word and Service, and reflect on your own sense of call as it relates to stated or unstated expectations for your work.
Operationalizing your Church’s Values (Pastor Brenda Satrum)
Based on the work of Brene Brown, learn to clarify your church’s values. Living into our values means that we do more than profess our values, we practice them. We walk our talk and are clear about what we believe and hold important, and we talk care that our intentions, words, thoughts and behaviors align with those beliefs.
10+ New Testament Images of How Jesus Restores our Relationship with God: Images of the Atonement (Bishop Rick Jaech)
We will discuss how these Atonement images bring life to our daily lives, our preaching and our ministry in the world.
Registration is closed. However, if you are interested in joining us, please contact Allison at the Synod Office to see if any openings are available.
